Hello!
Our latest film, "Eagle Quest" is up and ready for download at last. Just follow the "2006" link under "Videos" to the left.
It has been exactly a month since the end of our filming week.
I hope you enjoy the film! Feel free to discuss it in our forums.

Hi all
It turns out we've had a delay in the release of our new film because it is stored on a system that James needs at college every day this week. It is done though, and will be up this weekend (13th - 14th), in all likelihood!

We are currently switching to a different server through our hosting company. I apologise if the site is running slowly at this time.

Our latest film is now almost complete. It is at the final editing stage and we hope to have it online next week hopefully.
Thanks
James

Hey all,

This post is really directed at the Plank Films Crew. I have spent a little time updating the news submission page so that it works (almost) fully now. You can edit old posts if you know the correct post number as well as creating new ones. Hope you like it. Kris, if you're not happy with it, I have left the old one in the folder as well, lol. I haven't changed anything you did much, just added to it. So it's still really your project. I was just fed up of using the CPanel to edit my posts... or James'.

Of course, this does benefit viewers to an extent; the easier it is for us to post and repost, the more likely we will be to do so. Enjoy... well, those of you who can access it anyway.

David (Site Webmaster)

UPDATE: I have now added quick-edit tags to posts IN THE NEWS PAGE ONLY. You still need to login to use them, but it should be easier than working out your post id every time. It even works in IE properly... that makes a nice change.

Evening all
Well I've been in Guildford for a few days now and filming of """"our new project"""" has been going very well!

Yesterday we went """"somewhere"""" to film """"something""""!

Here is a little '''taster''' image of what's to come. (Doesn't reflect final quality of production!)

Hi fans. James Steel is coming down to Guildford for 5 days from the 10th 'till the 15th (April) and during that time we will film our next Plank Films production. We won't reveal any other details at this time because in all likelihood a lot of things will change about it anyway as we do it.
What I will tell you though, is that we will be making the most of this rare opportunity to use James's filming kit again, and that I, as producer of this next film, aim for it to greatly surpass our previous efforts. Look out for updates to the Parkour section as I will no doubt be pouncing (perhaps literally) on the chance to use the camera and film some new tutorials or more. See you in the forums,
Charlie

Been a month, and it seems like no news? Well, no Official Plank Films News I suppose, but there have been many additions to both PFM and the 360 section recently.

In PF news, David is working on the TROCPC 2 script at the moment, I managed to sneak a look at the latest version and it's coming along VERY nicely :). This is the first video that we're writing a proper script for, and it seems like it will help a LOT!

Just finished my Media Studies coursework, which was to make the opening of a new horror/slasher film, it turned out pretty well, and I'll be sure to post that up at the end of the year (Once it's been marked, and failed!)

Thanks
James

I bring good news! After many days of anguish, I decided to take the screwdriver to my zodiac and I'm glad I did. Under normal circumstances, me with a screwdriver and electronic device would most likely go horribly wrong, but not this time! Must have been a loose connection, I just screwed the screws in a bit tighter and..... IT WORKS!

PFM is now back on the road. But the 360 page will still see updates!
