How to install and play 'CaSTaway':
What is it?
CaSTaway is an Atari ST emulator for palm/zodiac from Jeff Mitchell. It's a great emulator if you had the Atari or are interested in
it. It's constantly being upgraded as well, so keep checking it. At the moment
it's very stable and highly compatable.
Why do I want it?
Well if you like old games and Atari ST you'll have lots of fun playing classic
games on your zodiac.
What do I need to run it?
The standard gear. A Zodiac, FileZ (a good free file manager for Palm) an SD
card, and an SD card reader. If you dont have an SD card reader, you can just use the .mp3 trick to get the
necessary files to your SD card. (Rename the ending of your files to .mp3, then
u can sync it to the device becuase the zodiac thinks its a music track. Once
on, track it down, and move it with 'FileZ' to the appropriate location, see below
for more details)
How do I install it?

1. Download the correct version of CaSTaway here : http://www.codejedi.com/shadowplan/castaway.html (At the current time of writing '1.0.1' is the latest one to be signed for Zodiac
use. If you have DAA though you can download the latest and greatest!)
2. Using FileZ (or your launcher if it has a file manager) create an new folder
in /PALM/Programs called 'AtariST' on your SD card.
3. Now get yourself an Atari TOS ROM image file. It is the basic operating system
and is needed for you to be able to play CaSTaway. If you have an Atari ST you
can dump it in from that, or if not you can find one. The latest supported version
is 1.02 and it can be found by 'Searching Google' *COUGH* make sure it's renamed
to 'TOS.IMG'. Place it in the AtariST folder that you created on your SD card.
4. Hotsync the 'CaSTaway.prc' file to your zodiac or SD card if you prefer.
5. Now, plug the SD card reader into your PC, and insert one of your SD cards.
6. Place any disk images that you want into the 'AtariST' folder
7. Place the SD card back into your Zodiac.
8. Open the CaSTaway apllication.
9. The ROMS should be displayed in that window, page up and down and click on
one. Place it in drive A.
10. Press 'Go' to launch game
11. Read through the Readme file in the CaSTaway zip file for more information
